Long-distance move for a family of four – another success story!

Last month, we helped a family of four move from Illinois to Arizona. The father Craig was transferred to a new position in Phoenix on short notice. Our crew came in and packed the family’s entire Northbrook house in a few hours and loaded everything onto the trucks.

Last month, we helped a family of four move from Illinois to Arizona. The father Craig was transferred to a new position in Phoenix on short notice. Our crew came in and packed the family’s entire Northbrook house in a few hours and loaded everything onto the trucks. Because of the short notice, the family hadn’t had a chance to find a new home in Arizona and was looking for a place to store their belongings for the time being. We were happy to provide Craig and his family one month rent-free storage at our Skokie facility. After the family purchased a house in Phoenix, the logistics manager assigned a semi-trailer and made the arrangements for long distance transit. On the day of the delivery our driver called to confirm the time and found out that neither Craig nor his wife Emily would be able to take the time from work to meet the crew.

After checking all the options, the driver made the decision to wait for the family and make an after-hours delivery. The crew started to unload at 5 pm and worked through the evening way past 11 pm. The movers were exhausted, but happy because the family got to sleep in their own beds again!
