That’s why we’d like to provide you with some handy tips written from a mover’s perspective to help make your move as smooth and effortless as possible!

  1. Due to Covid-19, please keep family and friends to a minimum, and practice safe, social distancing as much as possible. Everyone must wear a mask at all times!
  2. Keep pets and children out of the way of movers. While some people may consider them cute and harmless, their presence could be potentially dangerous to our movers, as they will be lifting large and heavy items, and small children and pets could get into a blind spot.
  3. In winter, snow and rain can leave planters, pots, and patio furniture wet and dirty, leaving a trail of wetness and mud behind that can get onto both the movers and furniture as items are being transported into the moving van. This can make it messy for other people who are loading up items as well. Store your patio furniture inside your home or garage a few days before your move to let it dry off or so that you can wipe it dry.
  4. Remember to mark each box, and make sure to write the room where the possessions are supposed to go using large, easy-to-read lettering. Use a different color for each room to make it easier and faster for movers to distinguish which room the box goes to.
